Strattonwood is a family centered private swim club that values their employees. Strattonwood hires for seasonal jobs each year including a pool manager, lifeguards, swim instructors, and swim aides. STRATTONWOOD SWIM CLUB EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION – 2021 SEASON

Preparations are being made to open our pool to our members for the 2021 summer season in compliance with the published COVID and swimming pool regulations for the State of Washington. We expect physical distancing and capacity limits to be in place throughout the summer and are planning for the season around these restrictions.  As a result, we expect to hire fewer employees than a typical season and those hired will have a predictable schedule and hours for the summer.

Current Open Positions: 

Lifeguards – we are looking for lifeguards to work May through Labor Day. All lifeguards must have an active lifeguarding certification as well as current CRP/AED/First Aid training.  Lifeguards must be 16 years of age or older to apply.  See the job description for complete details.

Pool Manager – we are actively looking for a pool manager!  This is the perfect seasonal opportunity for someone who has summers off or is looking to compliment an existing job.  The pool manager is responsible for providing onsite management of the daily operations of the pool from mid-May through Labor Day including staffing, training, scheduling, basic pool maintenance, coordinating repairs, payroll,  to name a few.  Previous lifeguarding and/or pool management experience required.  Ideal candidate will be interested in the position for more than one season.  See job description for more details.

  • Time Commitment
    • Offseason (Jan-April):  Approximately 20-30 hours total to assist with hiring, training, and preparations for opening the pool.
    • During the season (May-Sept):  20 hours per week for the 2021 season (approximately 25-32 hours per week during a typical season)
